Rob Van Winkle aka Vanilla Ice has seen his share of ups and downs in his professional career. Vanilla Ice exploded on the pop music scene in 1990 with his CD "To The Extreme" selling over 17 million copies. His single "Ice Ice Baby" has weathered well over the last 15 years and is a pop classic still in great demand today.

Rob has recently been seen by TV audiences in VH1's "Behind the Music", Fox "Celebrity Boxing", "Hollywood Squares", WB Reality TV Show "Surreal Life", VH1 program "Remaking of Vanilla Ice", Reality Show "The Farm" (TV show in Europe), and NBC " Hit Me Baby One More Time" and will soon begin filming “Surreal Life Fame Games”for VH1 in March in Las Vegas.

Rob has appeared in The New Guy and starred in an independent film, The Helix...Loaded. His latest album "Platinum Underground" was released in late August 05. The album includes a hot new VH1 single "Dunn Datt" produced by a very high profile production team, Track Starz (Chingy, 50 Cent, Gwen Stefani) and includes the track "Survivor" as performed on NBC/Hit Me Baby. Platinum Underground is released on Ultrax Records in the USA and distributed by Select O Hits. The CD is available for overseas labels and distributors for licensing.

With great demand in concert and personal appearances, Vanilla Ice has been playing dates in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Germany, South East Asia and toured Europe last winter.

Vanilla Ice flew to New York City to appear on NBC's "Today Show", ESPN "Cold Pizza", Sirius Satellite Network, Fox and Friends, CNN "Showbiz Tonight", and in LA for Wealth TV, and G4 TV/Pop Culture. The iconic rapper/rocker is currently enjoying making new music, appearing on TV shows, and plans to do more movies and commercials. Just like the song that he performed on "Hit Me Baby One More Time" Rob's a "Survivor". Watch him on Surreal Life Fame Games on VH1 this summer and check the website for his next concert.
