"Play It Loud" is an original music series that follows award-winning independent filmmaker Adam Hampton as he explores Oklahoma's vibrant music scene with an eclectic lineup of the state's rising artists and musicians.

Hosty

Out of Norman, Oklahoma, witty guitar guru Mike Hosty, plays as a One Man Band playing drums with his feet, playing the guitar and singing at the same time at the Deli in Norman, OK on Campus Corner and entertains as the Hosty Duo with sometimes with the addition of a Drummer combining for a tour schedule of 250 shows a year. Hosty simultaneously tears through gritty slide leads, blows harmonica and or Kazoo and uses foot pedals to stomp bass lines.

Allie Lauren Project

The Allie Lauren Project formed in 2011 and is an avant-garde project curated by singer- songwriter Lauren {pronunciation: lʌ-‘rɪn} Nicole Clare. Named for her great-grandmother Allie and defying genre lines, the impulsively passionate sound seeks to take its listener to a place that only seems familiar, while inspiring thought that transcends what music is often told to be.

Travis Linville

It’s a quiet confidence, an air of authority limited to only the most studied artists, a commanding irreverence woven with a thread of vulnerability. There’s something inexplicably authentic about Oklahoma’s Travis Linville, and it’s carried him from dive bars and classrooms to “The Tonight Show” and esteemed theaters and festivals across the globe.

KALO

Israeli guitarist, singer and songwriter Bat-Or Kalo fronts her eponymous trio and also travels and tours the U.S. and Israel solo (wearing only her last name and her vintage Gibson electric guitar). Fiery, unbridled and electrifying, KALO’s guitar chops and contralto voice are a force like none other.
